Choosing a Display Supplier: Questions Worth Asking Before You Order

A weighted base holds a bust upright when a customer leans on the case. A hollow base tips, and a tipped bust in a window is the most expensive kind of empty.
Ask for the internal dimensions
External size tells you what fits in the case. Internal size tells you what fits in the display. Ring seats, pendant slots and bangle bars are all internal measurements.
Ask whether the range will still exist next season
A display set that cannot be topped up in six months is a set you will have to replace entirely. Continuity is worth more than novelty.
Ask for one before you buy fifty
A single sample under your own lighting tells you more than any photograph. Colour under warm shop light is not colour under a studio flash.
