Earring Display Stands: Studs, Drops and Hoops in One Case

Studs, drops and hoops need different eye lines. Studs on a flat pad up front, drops on a mid riser, hoops on a T-bar at the back. Flatten them all onto one level and the drops tangle into the studs.
Studs need a card or a pad, never a hook
A stud on a hook rotates and shows its back. On a foam pad or slotted card it stays face on, which is the only angle that sells it.
Drops must hang clear
Measure your longest drop, then buy a stand at least 30mm taller. A drop resting on the base looks broken.
Hoops want a bar, not a hole
Threading hoops through holes creases the shape over time. A horizontal bar lets them hang round and true.
Pairs together, always
One earring visible and one hidden reads as a missing item. Every position should show both, ideally slightly offset so the customer sees front and profile.
Keep backs off the display
Loose butterflies on the pad look like debris. Store them in a small dish behind the counter and fit them at the sale.
Light from above and slightly forward
Earrings are usually vertical, so overhead light alone leaves the face in shadow. A small forward tilt in the stand solves it without new lighting.
A stand per collection, not per SKU
Customers buy the story. Ten unrelated pairs on one stand is a jumble; six pairs from one collection is a range.
