How to Display Rings So People Try Them On

Keep a mirror within arm's reach

If the customer has to move to see their hand, momentum breaks.

Show the profile, not just the top

A ring seen only from above hides the setting and the band. Angled slots reveal the side, which is where the craft is.

Sort by size band where you can

Nothing kills a try-on faster than three rings in a row that do not fit. Group common sizes at the front.

Do not overfill

Twelve rings on a tray built for eight means every ring touches its neighbour and none of them look special.

Give stacking rings their own space

Stacks sell as sets. Displayed singly they read as thin and cheap.

Keep a cleaning cloth in the drawer

Rings get handled. A quick polish between customers keeps the case sharp.

Watch the light on the stone

Move a tray five centimetres and a dull stone can come alive. Test positions before you rearrange the whole case.
